PAINTING THE ZONE, IN DIFFICULT TIMES
In honor of our founder, Craig Sager, who brought color and fun to difficult situations – we have responded to a need at the local children’s hospital, to help color the world of isolated patients during these COVID-19 times.
Thank you to our SagerStrong supporters for helping us “Paint the ZONE” in April while we wait to reschedule our March Mania events at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. With your help, we were able to order paint kits for the ZONE staff to help with their in-room outreach during this COVID-19 time when the young patients are not allowed to have visitors. The first shipment of paints came in for our friends at the Zone — and they distributed colorful palettes in craft kids for the patients at Children’s Scottish Rite campus, to give them something fun to do while they are in isolation.
The kits were a HUGE hit — so we planned to continue “coloring their world” — by doing more deliveries! We placed a second order mid May for the ZONE, with the support of our friends that gave during Georgia Gives day, May 5th. Our Georgia Gives site will stay “live” through May, in support of the Georgia Gives platform — CLICK HERE to learn more, or to show your support!

Thanks to YOU, these young patients are #StayingSagerStrong!
