MD Anderson Cancer Center
Through the generous efforts of our donors and supporters we are raising funds that go directly to fund clinical trials and cancer research for Leukemia and other blood cancers at MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas. Thank you to MD Anderson and all our supporters for helping us honor Craig’s Legacy, and one day find a cure.
Research at MD Anderson
The SAGERSTRONG Foundation has helped fund two clinical studies, Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and glioblastoma (GB), for Craig’s Physician at MD Anderson, Dr. Naveen Pemmaraju.
Craig's Court
Craig’s legacy lives on at “Craig’s Court” at MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital, dedicated in December 2017. Young cancer patients can spend time playing basketball while undergoing cancer treatment.

SAGERSTRONG Foundation and the V Foundation are teaming up to fund research related to blood cancers in memory of Craig.
V Week - Craig Sager Style Day
The V Foundation celebrated Craig’s “Sager Style” during the 12th annual Jimmy V Week with Craig Sager Style Day November 29th and 30 2018. ESPN and NBA on TNT on-air personalities along with NBA players and coaches, wore “SagerStyle” jackets to raise funds for Leukemia research.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
To honor Craig’s dedication to cancer patients, the SAGERSTRONG Foundation has teamed up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to help raise funds to fight blood cancers.

The SagerStrong Foundation is partnering with the American Cancer Society to support them in their mission and goal of eliminating cancer as a major health problem.

In September, 2017, the American Cancer Society honored Craig Sager posthumously at their Coaches vs Cancer NYC Benefit Dinner. The Dinner Benefit brings together sports enthusiasts, industry leaders, coaches, players, and sports personalities to raise funds to support it’s mission and goal of eliminating cancer as a major health problem.
